When I was a kid, I used to call flowers "wow-wows". :P I chanced upon such lovely pictures of flowers in deviantART. You can visit the user's gallery here. I saved some of the person's pics. Check them out, credits to the owner of course:
Aren't they just awesome? *sigh* My own pictures can't hold a candle to these pics. These are some of mine, you may have seen them in my previous posts/posts to come:
They may not be as nice, but they sure come close don't they? :D
Apologies, Libraries and Modul...ies?
I have been playing Peek-a-boo with my readers. Seems I have let you all down. ]: Sorry for the broken promises. Hahahaha.
I haven't really blogged at all this year. Guess there hasn't been much to share. School's as dry as ever; at least now I can take advantage of the 3-month holiday.
Yes, I have a list of things to do and accomplish during this stint away from school. I have done a few so far, such as:
1) Go to Jurong Regional Library to borrow books 2) Print some piano scores I find online and learn them 3) Make my own blogskin (which turned out successfully; my awesome blog tells all!)
Maybe I've done more; just can't think of them at the moment. Tomorrow I'm back to the library to borrow more books. I started the Love Comes Softly series by Janette Oke. I borrowed the first two. In addition, I got me Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and a literary piece on Philippine history by F. Sionil Jose, Dusk. Now I'm trying to rush and finish the latter by tomorrow.
Nowadays I've been mostly at home, on a certain game site and watching Pinoy soaps on TFC, Tayong Dalawa, Only You and Your Song (Boystown). Oh! And Fighting Spiders too on Channel 5. Haha.
I've been discussing with my Choir friends about the possibility of performing for the PJC Homecoming Dinner on the 18th of July. Right now we're in a dilemma; hope we can sort it out soon. Winston, where are you? Rawr.
Exam results come out tomorrow. I'm worried about Multivariable Calculus. I had my nerves somewhat allayed however, after finding out that the only way I can fail it is if I get an F. *crosses fingers*
I realised I had a lot of fun learning stuff in my non-major modules. I took only 2 Math modules this past sem, leaving me with 3 extra ones. I took a Geography module (Terrestrial and Coastal Environments), General Biology and a Southeast Asian Studies module, cross-listed as a Singapore Studies module (Southeast Asia: A Changing Region). They were really interesting. (:
If my grades don't come out so good, I at least can be consoled by the fact that I learned a lot. That is the very essence of school after all, is it not? Wish I never have to be bothered by grades again. But of course, that's all wishful thinking. I *heart* learning.
I feel like going to the Science Centre. Muhahaha.
I'm rooting for the Denver Nuggets for the Playoffs!
I'm getting random.
More blogposts to come! With pics! :D
UP

Woot! I found this vid on Yahoo. It's a short clip from Disney Pixar's Up. It's showing on June 4 in Singapore! I can't wait. Ahaha. ENJOY!
Happy Square Root Day!
Tuesday, March 03, 2009 @ 11:18 PM
It's Square Root Day today, so I decided to blog. No, I don't love Math so much that I'd only blog because of the geeky holiday that is today. I just thought it was cool! Because 3*3=9! Yay! The next one is far away, on the 4th of April 2016. Once in a blue moon. Enjoy!
Hello. It seems I haven't blogged in aeons. Yes, I was lazy. I was even too lazy to change my blog layout, after the background's bandwidth was exceeded! But that's all fixed now. I was going to blog about all my get-togethers with all ma chums, but I can't locate my camera. :P Sorry?
I spent hours trying to fix my layout. Rawr. That was some minutes ago. Cool, isn't it? (Pun intended.) I did change it slightly though. Blogger html code reminds me of C programming. I think I'm beginning to miss it, haha! :D
There's something wrong with my laptop. Whenever I turn it on, I'm prompted to install a driver for a software. Even when I've already installed it, it repeatedly asks me to do so whenever I restart or turn on my lappie. HELP! I think my laptop's being loopy. ):
Other than that, I've found out something REALLY important. Apparently there's something wrong with Internet Explorer. According to this article, "The attack has serious and far-reaching ramifications". Temporary solution: switch from IE to Firefox or whatever other browser you have. That's what I did today. BUT if you don't have no other alternative, have no fear. I just found out here there's a new security patch that was sent out to curb the problem. So, I'm not sure why I'm telling you all this. :P
Some days back I stumbled upon a video on YouTube featuring an a capella group, Straight No Chaser. I'll let the video do the explaining:
Isn't it funny? :P
I named my blogpost as such because when I was eating lunch, a slight breeze entered through the window grills and set the baubles on our tree to motion. And I thought, "Oscillating ornaments!"
Happy Hols, y'all.

YAY THE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE!
So, I've been on break for almost a week now. And, what have I accomplished so far? Well, I've finished unpacking! My room has a lot of extra space. :D Okay, I haven't taken any pics yet, sorry. Maybe next time.
I made a list of all the things I need to get done during the break. Hopefully I can get them all done. I started doing the "3 most important things to do the next day" thing. Before I go to sleep, I think of 3 things I really need to get done the next day, and I do them. So far it's been okay. (:
I'm reading again! The first book in the series The Russians. Yay.
There's this cool game I found on the Internet. It's called Patchworkz! It's like a puzzle of a quilt. Click on it and try it! It's cool. :D In the same site I discovered another game called Mysteriez! It's like I Spy, but you have to find numbers. It's quite hard to find the other numbers though. But it's cool!
Oh yeah, Natalie had her birthday on Monday. We ate at the Jewel Box on Mount Faber. See the pics: (As usual, I stole them from Natalie's blog. :P)
1) The Jewel Box (Opal) 2) Sibs with tree and (fake) snow 3) Close up with snow
I know this one's quite belated, but here's a pic of the day I celebrated my birthday with my family at Fish & Co., the day before my birthday:
Now I'm gonna get ready for my outing with mother. We're going to watch Bolt! :D Cheers!
Yesterday, relocation. Tomorrow, relaxation.

Hi-low! (: Did I mention we were moving? Or have moved, rather? Just last Monday. This time it's permanent folks. (At least until I leave Singapore forever.) So now we're in an HDB flat in Bukit Panjang. I'll take some photos and post them after all the unsightly boxes are gone and when the place looks like a home.
Meanwhile.. I just had my one-week study break before exams. Tomorrow I have Calculus! I've never had an exam on a Saturday before. D: I haven't really studied. Been busy with the move. And sleeping. Tee-hee. Oh well. This time I've decided not to stress myself too much. So I'm just gonna do what I can, and not sleep so late from last-minute cram sessions. I refuse to frazzle my brain. Anyway, my real holiday starts right after my Lit exam next Friday. Hurrah!
Christmas is coming soon, people! :D
Oh I saw this article a few minutes ago. Apparently Einstein's famous formula E=mc^2 is finally proven! After 103 years! This is a happy moment for all Physics lovers! (Not me.) BUT I still think it's cool. I didn't even know it remained unproven 'till now. :P I got the article from Yahoo. Go check it out: http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20081120/sc_afp/sciencephysicseinstein_081120235605
This is so KEWL: Giant E=mc^2 sculpture in Germany! I wanna see it! :D:D From the same website. Enjoy!
B-Days and D-Days
Monday, November 03, 2008 @ 9:53 PM
This week is full of D-Days. In other words, it's D-Week. All my homeworks/essays have converged (to a finite limit). Too much Calculus, lol. What I mean to say is that for 4/5 of my modules I either have homework or a 1000-word essay to submit. One thing to hand in for each day of the week on which I have school. Woopee!
Anyway I want to thank those who greeted me and sent me their well-wishes today. And the two of you who were a tad early. And those who will be late. Haha. Thanks very much! Thanks for your support and for being good friends to me! I love you guys! (:
Meanwhile I'll be at the dining table, solving Diophantine equations..
